Overrated
I bought the Zenith DTT901 because it had good reviews. I paid a little bit more than a basic box made by RCA which I had also purchased. Well, to my surprise, the Zenith was not able to pick up as many stations as the RCA. (And, yes, I did do all the television, converter box, antenna, and location swaps to make sure I gave the Zenith every opportunity to receive the missing stations.) If you are buying a converter box and want to get the most out of the digital conversion, the fact that the Zenith cannot receive as many stations makes this converter box a poor choice.

Seems pretty darn good
Before we hooked this up, we couldn't get any channels at all with just our rabbit ears. Now we get about a dozen broadcast channels. Most of them are pretty good, though a few channels are choppy. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because it seems pretty good but I have no idea how well it actually converts digital-only channels because I don't know which ones they are in my neighborhood.
It was super easy to hookup. It includes a "quick setup" page and took about 5 minutes to plug everything in behind the tv and maybe another 5 minutes tops to figure out how to turn it on and get the channels loaded.
It was also easy to use my government converter box coupon on amazon, but I did have to google it to find out how. I expected to be able to add the coupon after placing it in my cart but that's not how it worked.

Easy Setup
I have one TV in my studio that is not hooked up to cable so I thought I would buy a unit to see if my reception would improve. It took about 10 minutes to set up the unit. the instructions were easy to follow - just be sure to follow all of them! System has on screen menu. My reception is so clear and I am only using rabbit ears. I would recommend this unit.

Interesting experience
I had read many good reviews about this product so I used my coupon to purchase it. It's true with the box the auto-scan found 58 channels in my area. Some of the new channels I pick up are weather programming, several additional PBS stations and even a few Armenian stations. These are all nice surprises and I will enjoy getting better acquainted with them. However, what is now missing is my local CBS affiliate! I live in a 4-story apartment building with a rooftop antennae, so my reception for the basic networks was excellent. After talking to someone in the Zenith customer support department, she told me that the problem is not the box. She said it was the antennae (even though the CBS station reception was just fine before adding the box). The only solution she offered was that I would just have to live without CBS, which is really no solution at all. But for now, I can just turn off the box and watch my CBS station through the regular analog signal until February. Do not be suprised if you lose any of your major networks after purchasing your converter box!!! I still give this product 4 stars for all of the new channels I receive. And I'll give the customer support lady the benefit of the doubt when she says it's not the box rather the antennae which is causing me to lose my local CBS station.
